FORMER Chipolopolo and Power Dynamos striker Mwape Miti whose football career was halted by a persistent knee injury 15 years ago says he is now considering taking up coaching.
Miti scored 109 goals for Odense BoldKlub of Denmark in 246 appearances between 1997 and 2006.
“A knee injury made me stop playing football. But I don’t regret that I retired because of injury. I just thank God, am sure it was the only way for me to retire. I have no regrets,” Miti told #Kalemba from his residence in Riverside, Kitwe.
“I know people have been asking about me. I will start coaching soon. I can’t just live like this without sharing my knowledge and experience in football,” he said.
He was joint top scorer in the Danish top league with 19 goals in the 2003/04 season.
Miti featured at the Africa Cup in 1996 and 2000 besides representing Chipolopolo 33 times.
