  ZESCO United head coach Numba Mumamba could not hide his disgust with the level of officiating which has continued to dominate the Zambian game. The gaffer has appealed to the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Referees Department to do introspection into the standard of refereeing in the country. ZESCO United coach Numba Mumamba described Sunday’s victory over Zanaco Football Club as significant in the club’s title pursuit. In an interview with the club’s media, Mumamba said the game was difficult for his side in the first half because they gave Zanaco players a lot of room to play their game which resulted in the Ndola side conceding a goal. “ This is an important win on our part because we really needed this win so that we can open up a seven point lead at the top of the league.
