Buffaloes welcome Zesco United as Zanaco take on elite Dynamos

 Table toppers Zesco United will this weekend visit the capital city as they take on Green Buffaloes in a lunch time kickoff at the Sunset Stadium in Lusaka. Zega Mambo is coming from a 2-1 win over Zanaco Football Club while Green Buffaloes drew 2-2 against Nkana last Thursday.

Zanaco will be looking for a response to their weekend’s 2-1 defeat to Zesco United as they host Lusaka Dynamos who thrashed them in the reverse fixture at the same venue. Lusaka Dynamos are coming from a 1-1 draw against Kabwe Warriors.

On Sunday, Red Arrows, who are coming from a 1-all draw against Indeni will have a date against Green Eagles who equally drew 2-all against Prison Leopards. The two teams will clash at Nkoloma Stadium at 15:00Hrs.

Kabwe based National Division side Prison Leopards Football Club has announced that effected some changes on the Club's logo with immediate effect. According to statement, the Prisons Leopards Media Officer Kingsley Kunda says this is in a bid to align it to its main sponsors the Zambia Correctional Service and as a way of showing identity of the sponsors through the new emblem. Football Association of Zambia President Andrew Kamanga says returning to the summit of the African game would be his priority should he be re-elected next month. “We need to make FAZ financially independent, go back to the Africa Cup in 2021 and go to the World Cup in 2022,” he said. GREEN EAGLES ANNOUNCE THE SIGNING OF STRIKER LINEKER MWIIKISA ON AN 18 MONTHS DEAL

Choma based Super League side Green Eagles has announced the signing Zambian striker Lineker Mwiikisa on an 18 months Contract. Green Eagles Media says Mwiikisa has joined the Zambia National Service outfit as a free agent after plying his trade at Club Ferroviario de Beira of Mozambique. The Kawale Boys have also announced that they have recalled goalkeeper Eric Mapulanga from his loan stint at Division 1 outfits ZNS Lwamfumu Football Club. Green Eagles are currently top of the Zambian Super League on 40 points from 20 League matches.
