Forest Rangers extend dominance over Nkana to six matches

 Forest Rangers have extended their dominance over Nkana Football Club to six wins on the run with a 2-1 win over the defending champions this afternoon.

In a match played at the Nkana stadium in Kitwe, Forest Rangers opened the scores through Yan Daily Echabe in the 14th minute before Nkana forward Emmanuel Mwiinde restored parity for Nkana four minutes later.

Newly signed Forest Rangers striker Thomas Chideu opened his goal scoring account for the Ndola based side in the 32nd minute to give Fole the lead at the break.

Both teams, continued to press forward in the second half with Fole Malembe holding on to the lead which has seen them break into the top four to sit in third position with 35 points while Nkana remain in 16th position with 21 points from 19 League matches.

GREEN EAGLES ANNOUNCE THE SIGNING OF STRIKER LINEKER MWIIKISA ON AN 18 MONTHS DEAL

Choma based Super League side Green Eagles has announced the signing Zambian striker Lineker Mwiikisa on an 18 months Contract. Green Eagles Media says Mwiikisa has joined the Zambia National Service outfit as a free agent after plying his trade at Club Ferroviario de Beira of Mozambique. The Kawale Boys have also announced that they have recalled goalkeeper Eric Mapulanga from his loan stint at Division 1 outfits ZNS Lwamfumu Football Club. MICHO CLOSE TO PICKING FINAL AFCON AND CHAN SQUADS

Zambia National Soccer Team coach Milutin Sredojevic says he is closer to having his final teams for the back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Botswana and also the African Nations Championship (CHAN).
