Chipolopolo's quest for maiden FIFA WC spot starts in Mauritania

 Zambia will begin their FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualification campaign with an away match to Mauritania in June and wind up their campaign on the road away to Tunisia.

According to FAZ Media, Match Day 1 for Chipolopolo, who are in Group B, will see them travelling to Mauritania in the first weekend of June before hosting Tunisia a week later.

Game three of six in the group will be a trip to face Equatorial Guinea between September 1-4 before a return fixture against the Nzalang Nacional between 5th and 7th September.

According to the consolidated fixture, Chipolopolo’s penultimate match in Group B is set to be staged at home to Mauritania between October 6-9, while the final game of the campaign is against Tunisia between 10 and 12 October, 2021.

The winners of each of the 10 qualifying groups will qualify to the final round of the World Cup qualifiers where they will face off in a two-legged knock-out contest, out of which five will book their tickets to the Qatar event, due to be staged in November and December 2022.

Dan Kabwe expresses concerns over Silver Strikers goal conversion rate

Reacting to Sunday’s 2-1 win over Mighty Wanderers, Kabwe says the Bankers are good to go after collecting three points following a loss to Blue Eagles in their previous encounter. Kabwe described Sunday’s match as tactical game but was pleased that the team managed to prevail. He said: “We are coming from a loss and the one today was a very tactical game, but we prevailed. We are good to go after collecting three points. We created so many chances, but our problem is scoring. NAPSA STARS RIGHT BACK AARON KABWE STAYS ON THE SIDELINES

Napsa Stars Media has revealed that Kabwe missed the club’s last against played in Choma against Green Eagles Football last weekend.  Kabwe is expected to commence training next week in readiness for Napsa Star next assignment which will be the ABSA Cup Quarter-final match against Kabwe Warriors. Napsa Stars won the Absa Cup (Barclays Cup) in 2012 and are currently sitting in second position in the Super League.
