EDWARD TEMBO’S CONTRACT NEARS END

Zesco United midfielder Edward Tembo may be on his way out as his contracts comes to an end on 31st January.




A close source has revealed that the Ndola giants are yet to agree a new deal with the midfielder and will have to act hastily on whether they want him to stay beyond the current season or possibly lose him as a free agent.

The 2017 U-20 AFCON winner and former City of Lusaka captain is currently on the radar of some Lusaka and Copperbelt based Super League clubs who are monitoring the situation.
It is yet to be seen if Zesco United is going to release the midfielder just yet considering the rebuilding process currently in swing at the club who are recruiting young and promising talent.

"We started AFCON Qualifiers without a substantive coach," Kamanga regrets

  Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) president Andrew Kamanga says it is regrettable that the Chipolopolo started the campaign without a substantive coach in place which saw them lose the first two matches against Algeria away and against Zimbabwe in the AFCON Qualifiers. Dan Kabwe expresses concerns over Silver Strikers goal conversion rate
