LUMWANA RADIANTS AND ZESCO UNITED FACE OFF IN RESCHEDULED WEEK 20 ENCOUNTER

Defending Super League Champions, ZESCO United will this afternoon take on Lumwana Radiants in a week 20 rescheduled fixture to be held at Lumwana grounds in Solwezi.

ZESCO United saw their hopes of going third on the FAZ/MTN log table slightly frustrated after a 1-1 draw against their Copperbelt rivals, Power Dynamos.

Zesco United has in the last four league games recorded mixed result which will be of concern for George Lwandamina’s team as they set foot in Solwezi.

Lwandamina will be expecting his charges to produce an outstanding performance that will make it easier for the team to overcome Lumwana Radiants.

Both Lwandamina and ZESCO United players will be wary of the shrinking gap between the top four and those below them as he is expected to start with John Makwatta upfront.

Zesco United Media reveals that Lwandamina’s options upfront have taken a major blow due to the absence of veteran striker, Winston Kalengo who is out with a hamstring injury and will call upon Kenyan international striker Jesse Were to play a significant role in ZESCO’s attacking system.
