PRISON LEOPARDS FOOTBALL CLUB LINE UP HIGH PROFILE FRIENDLY MATCHES AS NATIONAL LEAGUE ENTERS THREE WEEKS BREAK

National League side Prison Leopards have lined up high profile friend matches as the League goes on a three weeks break with action set to resume on Saturday, 4th April, 2020 as Leopards are expected to make a trip to Lusaka to face Kafue Celtics in a week 25 fixture.

Prison Leopards Club management has lined up some high profile friendly matches with Super League giants in order to keep the team's momentum as well as maintain the physical fitness for players during this period.

Team Manager Superintendent Kebby Luchanga has confirmed to Zambia Super League News Blog that the team will this afternoon engage in a friendly match with Zambia Railways sponsored Super League side Kabwe Warriors before shifting base to the Copperbelt for a week.

Superintendent Luchanga says while on the Copperbelt, the team is expected to weigh in its level of fitness with yet to be confirmed Super League clubs based in the region.

FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION OF ZAMBIA PRESIDENT SAYS ZAMBIA WILL GO BACK TO THE TOP OF THE AFRICAN GAME

Football Association of Zambia President Andrew Kamanga says returning to the summit of the African game would be his priority should he be re-elected next month. “We need to make FAZ financially independent, go back to the Africa Cup in 2021 and go to the World Cup in 2022,” he said. PRISON LEOPARDS FOOTBALL CLUB UNVEILS REDESIGNED LOGO

Kabwe based National Division side Prison Leopards Football Club has announced that effected some changes on the Club's logo with immediate effect. According to statement, the Prisons Leopards Media Officer Kingsley Kunda says this is in a bid to align it to its main sponsors the Zambia Correctional Service and as a way of showing identity of the sponsors through the new emblem. The new changes include the replacement of the Leopard with an eagle in an effort to depict the image of both the club and the service and also to rebrand the logo to give it a new outlook.

FIFA lifts Nkana’s transfer ban

Lucky Mwewa Chama | 23 September, 2020 FIFA has lifted a transfer ban imposed on thirteen times Super League champions Nkana Football Club following a dispute with Ghanaian goalkeeper Stephen Adams. In a letter to Nkana FC dated 23 September 2020, FIFA Head of Players’ Status, Erika Montemor Ferreira acknowledged receipt of the communication of the legal representative of the player confirming that the parties involved in the matter have settled the matter. “In this respect, we acknowledge receipt of the communication of the legal representative of the player, by means of which he confirmed that the parties settled the matter.
