PRISON LEOPARDS FOOTBALL CLUB LINE UP HIGH PROFILE FRIENDLY MATCHES AS NATIONAL LEAGUE ENTERS THREE WEEKS BREAK

National League side Prison Leopards have lined up high profile friend matches as the League goes on a three weeks break with action set to resume on Saturday, 4th April, 2020 as Leopards are expected to make a trip to Lusaka to face Kafue Celtics in a week 25 fixture.

Prison Leopards Club management has lined up some high profile friendly matches with Super League giants in order to keep the team's momentum as well as maintain the physical fitness for players during this period.

Team Manager Superintendent Kebby Luchanga has confirmed to Zambia Super League News Blog that the team will this afternoon engage in a friendly match with Zambia Railways sponsored Super League side Kabwe Warriors before shifting base to the Copperbelt for a week.

Superintendent Luchanga says while on the Copperbelt, the team is expected to weigh in its level of fitness with yet to be confirmed Super League clubs based in the region.

Dan Kabwe expresses concerns over Silver Strikers goal conversion rate

Lucky Mwewa Chama | 03-04-22 TNM Super League side Silver Strikers coach Dan Kabwe has noted that the team has been creating many chances which they have not been converting. Reacting to Sunday’s 2-1 win over Mighty Wanderers, Kabwe says the Bankers are good to go after collecting three points following a loss to Blue Eagles in their previous encounter. Kabwe described Sunday’s match as tactical game but was pleased that the team managed to prevail. He said: “We are coming from a loss and the one today was a very tactical game, but we prevailed. We are good to go after collecting three points. We created so many chances, but our problem is scoring. But we won and that’s good going forward.” Silver Strikers revived their TNM Super League campaign with a crucial 2-1 win against Mighty Wanderers at Silver Stadium in Lilongwe. PRISON LEOPARDS FOOTBALL CLUB UNVEILS REDESIGNED LOGO

Kabwe based National Division side Prison Leopards Football Club has announced that effected some changes on the Club's logo with immediate effect. According to statement, the Prisons Leopards Media Officer Kingsley Kunda says this is in a bid to align it to its main sponsors the Zambia Correctional Service and as a way of showing identity of the sponsors through the new emblem. The new changes include the replacement of the Leopard with an eagle in an effort to depict the image of both the club and the service and also to rebrand the logo to give it a new outlook.

"We started AFCON Qualifiers without a substantive coach," Kamanga regrets

Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) president Andrew Kamanga says it is regrettable that the Chipolopolo started the campaign without a substantive coach in place which saw them lose the first two matches against Algeria away and against Zimbabwe in the AFCON Qualifiers. In his President Column, Kamanga says the Association’s efforts to recruit a coach suffered serious resistance leaving the Football governing body to rely on local coaches that oversaw the first two matches.
