PENSIONERS, POWER CLASH

13th placed Napsa Stars will this afternoon take on 5th placed Power Dynamos in a Week 22 rescheduled encounter.

Lusaka based Napsa Stars are coming from a 2-1 win over Buildcon Football club which pushed them into 13th place as Doisy Soko and Bornwell Mwape scored to cancel out the earlier Buildcon goal by Emmanuel Okutu.

Power Dynamos last match was a home 1-0 win over Prison Leopards in Kitwe. The Perry Mutapa drilled side will be eyeing a spot in the top four if they manage to beat Napsa Stars who are looking for a sixth win of the season and keep some momentum and consistency.

The earlier encounter between the two teams was a 2-2 draw at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe as Benson Chali gave Power the lead while Laudit Mavugo and Jacob Ngulube temporarily gave the Pensioners the lead before Benson Sakala restored parity.

Power will be without Benson Sakala and Spencer Sautu while Luka Banda was part of the National team before he withdrew from camp citing personal reasons.

This is a must win for either team as they seek to maintain some momentum and push high up on the Super League table.
