WEEK 21 FIXTURES CONFIRMED!

 

After the midweek fixtures, the action in the Zambian Super League will be back on Saturday and Sunday as Napsa Stars welcome Buildcon to Lusaka while Zanaco have a big fixture against Nkana at Sunset Stadium.

Kitwe United will be seeking revenge against Green Eagles on Saturday in Kitwe while Green Buffaloes will be playing Nkwazi in a Lusaka derby.

Power Dynamos have big date against Red Arrows this at Arthur Davies on Sunday.

Football Association of Zambia President Andrew Kamanga says returning to the summit of the African game would be his priority should he be re-elected next month. “We need to make FAZ financially independent, go back to the Africa Cup in 2021 and go to the World Cup in 2022,” he said. PRISON LEOPARDS FOOTBALL CLUB UNVEILS REDESIGNED LOGO

Kabwe based National Division side Prison Leopards Football Club has announced that effected some changes on the Club's logo with immediate effect. According to statement, the Prisons Leopards Media Officer Kingsley Kunda says this is in a bid to align it to its main sponsors the Zambia Correctional Service and as a way of showing identity of the sponsors through the new emblem. The new changes include the replacement of the Leopard with an eagle in an effort to depict the image of both the club and the service and also to rebrand the logo to give it a new outlook.

FIFA lifts Nkana’s transfer ban

  Lucky Mwewa Chama | 23 September, 2020 FIFA has lifted a transfer ban imposed on thirteen times Super League champions Nkana Football Club following a dispute with Ghanaian goalkeeper Stephen Adams. In a letter to Nkana FC dated 23 September 2020, FIFA Head of Players’ Status, Erika Montemor Ferreira acknowledged receipt of the communication of the legal representative of the player confirming that the parties involved in the matter have settled the matter. “In this respect, we acknowledge receipt of the communication of the legal representative of the player, by means of which he confirmed that the parties settled the matter. Consequently, we will now proceed to the closure of the present matter. Furthermore, we kindly inform your club that the ban imposed on it in line with the aforementioned decision is now lifted,” read the letter in part.
