POWER DYNAMOS CEO CONDEMNS VIOLENT AND UNRULY CONDUCT AT THE STADIUM

Power Dynamos Football Club has strongly warned perpetrators of violence and unruly conduct at its matches.

Club Chief Executive Officer Happie Munkondya said in the recent times, the club has witnessed a strange behavioral attitude by some fans who always want to throw missiles on the pitch to vent their frustration against decisions or actions taken by match officials, coaches or opponents.

Munkondya was reacting to the ugly incidence witnessed on Saturday 8th, February 2020, during the match against Kabwe Youth Academy where a broken bottle was thrown at the players who were warming up and severely injuring George Chisala.

He says the act must be condemned in the strongest terms by all well-meaning Power Dynamos fans.

Munkondya observes that the behaviour has put the name of the game and the Club into disrepute and has sternly warned that anyone found culpable of that incidence, shall be banned from entering the stadium.

The Club further warns that it shall ban any fan who shall exhibit blatant misconduct which puts the name of the game and public peace to ridicule.

He has since appealed to the fans to refrain from engaging into conduct that has potential to cause closure of the stadium by the Football Association of Zambia.

The Club has further commended fans who have come out to condemn the misbehavior and committed themselves to support the efforts of the Club to uphold its true values and identity.
