ZAMBIA PLACED IN POT ONE AHEAD OF AFRICAN NATIONS CHAMPIONSHIP DRAWS


The Zambia National Soccer team will this evening learn of their opponents in the Cameroon 2020 African Nations Championship that will be staged from April 4-25 during the draws to be held in Yaounde, Cameroon.

The Chipolopolo Boys are among the top seeded teams and will be in Pot One alongside hosts Cameroon, former champions Morocco and Libya.

The Chipolopolo boys have qualified to two straight tournaments after the last edition in Morocco where they reached the quarterfinals.

FAZ Media reports that Chipolopolo coach Milutin Sredojevic is in Cameroon to witness the draw.

The draw will take place at 20:00 hours Central African Time (CAT).

PRISON LEOPARDS FOOTBALL CLUB UNVEILS REDESIGNED LOGO

Kabwe based National Division side Prison Leopards Football Club has announced that effected some changes on the Club's logo with immediate effect. According to statement, the Prisons Leopards Media Officer Kingsley Kunda says this is in a bid to align it to its main sponsors the Zambia Correctional Service and as a way of showing identity of the sponsors through the new emblem. The new changes include the replacement of the Leopard with an eagle in an effort to depict the image of both the club and the service and also to rebrand the logo to give it a new outlook.

FIFA lifts Nkana’s transfer ban
